One of my favourite films is "How the Grinch stole Christmas", mainly because of the scene where he receives the invite to be the 'Holiday Cheermeister' and he says "But what would i wear?" before trying everything he owns on.

I can relate to him in that moment, as can most people!

When it comes to photoshoots, you want to look and feel great!

All the clothes shown here are from high street shops and linked at the bottom of the page.

Keep it simple

Neutral colours & no bold prints or logos.

I love a summer dress, midi length and comfy to wear.

Avoid super short dresses and bright colours, as they can distract from the photos.

If dresses aren't your thing, a pair of blue jeans will be your best friend for the shoot.

Pair these with a white t-shirt or neutral blouse.

When it comes to accessorising, keep it small.

Dainty necklaces and earrings are the best way to go!

Now that the hard bit is out the way, let's move onto the easiest people to dress, the gents.

Jeans and a shirt - it's as simple as that. Try to match jean colour, e.g if you're wearing blue jeans, he should also. Pair them with a plain light t-shirt or shirt, avoiding big logos.

Light blue shirts are always a hit.

The kids

Everything we've been through, can be applied to the kids.

Neutral colours, plain tops, no big logos.

Keep matching outfits to just the kids.

Co-ordinate colour palettes!

So if Dad's wearing a light blue shirt, and Mum's wearing a beige dress, think light colours that match - light pastel pinks or purples, white or beige, and even light khaki green.

I hope this has helped, and if you still aren't sure what to wear, you can always send me an email with some different outfits attached.

We can work it out together!
